Stonehenge + Salisbury Cathedral

These two structures are entirely different from each other, but both are magnificent in their own regard.  (I'd love to write more, but Bryn is getting fidgety which means nap time is almost over...time is of the essence!)

I guess the picture doesn't make it look very spectacular, but Stonehenge is actually one of my most favorite things we've visited since we've been here.  It's pretty rad.

Jousting

We returned to Blenheim Palace to enjoy a jousting tournament they put on.  We met up with some friends there and had a great time.

This Japanese Maple was the most beautiful, vibrant color.  I wish the picture could do it better justice.

Bath

One of the first places we visited with Sheris was Bath.  It is famous for being the home town of Jane Austen and also for having an authentic Roman Bath that was built during the first century A.D.  The baths are filled with water from England's only natural hot spring.  Touring the bath was very cool.  The city itself is quite nice and I enjoyed just wandering the streets.  I'm looking forward to returning next month to spend time at the city's modern-day bath/spa.  Justin gifted me with a massage and facial for Mother's Day...saaawweeeeeet!

Our little traveler.  She did so great!

Told you it was cool.

Nursing in public became a necessity with all of our travels.  I'm sure there were many accidental flashing incidents along the way, but by the end I was pretty good at it.  *Shout out to BFF Katy for the awesome nursing cover!!*

Justin and Sheris enjoying a picnic, gorgeous weather, and a beautiful park all at the same time.

A Visitor

Three weeks ago Justin's sister, Sheris, came to visit.  During her two week stay we did lots of traveling and were able to see some new sites as well as revisit some old ones (*pictures to come).  In addition to touring, Sheris also spent her time doing our dishes, washing laundry, making dinner, grocery shopping, etc.  It was AWESOME.  Thanks so much, Sheris.  We loved having you!

A Melted Heart

Last night Bryn smiled and cooed at me for the first time.  She has smiled before, but it's usually due to gas.  This time no gas followed.  Our eyes were locked and she responded to my smiles with a knock-out smile of her own.  Could there be a better feeling in the world?!

P.S.  She decided to bust out this smile right as I was getting ready to put her to bed.  Of course I let her stay up later hoping for another smile.  What a clever girl, already manipulating bed time!

Time flies...

...when you're feeding??  I can't believe Bryn has been a part of our family for 3 weeks now.  It has gone by super fast.  Our schedule consists mainly of feeding, feeding, and MORE feeding, but we have managed to squeeze in a few alternative activities here and there.

Polka dot photo shoot
A trip to church:  I never knew it could take so much effort to get to one hour of church, but we did it!  Bryn was so good during the meeting and while greeting all of her adoring fans afterwards.

Making a silly face while modeling a hat made by Great-Grandma Susan.
Catching a few zzz's between feeds:  I'm sure my thought during this picture was, "Forget picture taking, let's take a nap!"
Playing Super-Hero with Dad:  Justin was excited to discover that a bib can easily double as a cape by simply turning it around the neck 180 degrees.

She's Here!!

Bryn Olivia finally decided to make her debut on Friday, April 3 at 9:55 a.m.  She weighed in at 7 pounds, 7 ounces and is absolutely perfect.  We are head-over-heels in love with this little one!  Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and well wishes.
